The International PDS in Harbin, China provides opportunities for teacher candidates and faculty members from Buffalo State and Harbin Normal University to learn from one another - virtually and through study and service exchange activities. Buffalo State teacher candidates and faculty travel to China each May/June for three weeks.
Harbin 哈尔滨 (view map) is the capital and largest city of Heilongjiang province, People’s Republic of China. Harbin is the eighth most populous Chinese city and the most populous city in Northeast China. It serves as a key political, economic, scientific, cultural and communications hub in Northeast China, as well as an important industrial base of the nation.

Final program costs are determined once all participants are enrolled. Some expenses are included in a one-time fee applied to Buffalo State tuition bill. Other expenses are paid separately by each student before and during travel.
