Teachers from across Western New York are invited to join Explore Buffalo for a FREE teacher tour of downtown Buffalo on Saturday, May 3 at 10:00 a.m. Highlights of Saturday’s tour may include the Ellicott Square Building, Old Post Office, St. Paul’s Cathedral, Guaranty Building, Hotel Lafayette, and City Hall. The tour will be approximately 90 minutes in length.
Explore Buffalo's school tours are an excellent way to supplement curriculum on local history, government, and other topics. Tours are offered for students of all ages, from kindergarten through high school, and are customized to match the grade level of the students. Highly trained volunteers docents have a wealth of experience giving tours to schoolchildren and know how to make Buffalo’s history come alive for children.
