Students are invited to learn more about an international teach and study opportunity in the Dominican Republic during this information session on Thursday, March 20, at 3:30 p.m. in Bacon Hall 116B.
This unique international education program will engage teacher candidates in nearly three weeks of study, teaching, traveling, and research in and around the coastal city of Cabarete, Dominican Republic. Students will work with local children and families, complete an intensive Spanish-language course, participate in pre-travel meetings, and learn about and experience Dominican history, culture, and education.
This program is open to students from the departments of Elementary Education and Reading and Exceptional Education.
