To inspire, equip and empower students personally and professionally so that they can be confident about themselves, their authentic purpose and their abilities to excel in college and beyond.
To provide a safe, empowering and fun environment in the college campus where students can be able to engage, grow, encourage and learn from each other and as well as increase their personal, professional and leadership development through the help of experts. These experts may include faculty, student affairs professionals, student leaders as well as successful professionals beyond the college environment.
Students will meet regularly once a week with a student leader or professional in the college setting. During this time, the leader of the Mastermind group will lead and facilitate a discussion based on a topic or book that has been assigned to leaders for the semester. Leaders will create a safe and fun learning environment whereby students will be able to learn about themselves and their fellow group peers personally and professionally. Students will be provided with tools that will help them grow and be confident in themselves personally and academically each week. Students will do an assessment on their experience within the Mastermind, when they first join the group and when the semester ends.
This is a weekly 1-hour empowerment session that will take place whereby students in the Mastermind groups and the college community will be invited to hear an inspiring speaker and expert who will give them insights on how to grow personally and professionally. This session will help students maintain their confidence while in college throughout each semester. It will also include fun learning activities and edutainment themes.
