The School of Education is proud to join the Buffalo State community in supporting the resettlement of our new neighbors to the City of Good Neighbors!
In response to the recent Daily message requesting participation in a collection drive for items needed to re-home Afghan evacuees, the SOE Office of the Dean is coordinating donations from our faculty, staff, students, and friends.
Buffalo United for Afghan Evacuees is collecting the items below to prepare Welcome Kits for families and individuals. Bring donations to Bacon 306 by December 8. Please also email Tamara a description of the item(s) you are donating.
We will update the information below so that it is clear which items have been donated -- noted below as "RCVD".
PLEASE ADHERE TO THE LIST BELOW. While there are no doubt many items that we feel are needed and worth donating, the community groups coordinating these admirable and enormous organizing efforts can be understaffed and often overwhelmed. By following the guidelines and wish lists they provide, we are making it easier for them to help those in need quickly and appropriately. Thank you for understanding!
