Students are invited to learn more about an international teach and study opportunity in the Dominican Republic during this information session on Thursday, March 13 at 3:00 p.m. in Bacon Hall room 116B.
This unique international education program will engage teacher candidates in nearly 3 weeks of study, teaching, traveling, and research in and around the coastal city of Cabarete, Dominican Republic. Students will work with local children and families, complete an intensive Spanish-language course, participate in pre-travel meetings, and learn about and experience Dominican history, culture, and education.
This program is open to students from the departments of Elementary Education & Reading and Exceptional Education.
